For this night we'll have two great talks. First, web and graphic designer Natalie MacLees, who has spoken at many WordCamps across the country, will go over her various client projects and show what customization tools she has used in WordPress and see how she sets them up so the client is free to do some changes and not others. This way, the web designer can create compelling web designs, while the client can add new content, but cannot mess with your exceptional designs.
Meanwhile, for the past 15 years, Amber Hewitt of GraphicGoo has used her design skills to help clients solve their problems. Her solutions cover a wide spectrum: logos, icons, informational guides, books, and websites. Her clients have included bloggers, fashion designers, sports equipment manufacturers, non-profits, photographers, musicians, motivational speakers, and local governments - each with their own unique solution.
We will have food courtesy of our host for the evening, InMotion Hosting, drinks from Neuro and prizes from Photoshop Cafe. We really look forward to finally meeting the great, creative minds of the San Gabriel Valley on February 2nd!
